Dr. Gerlinger and his team performed a partial knee replacement, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Four days after surgery, I was walking without any device assistance. I was off narcotics within 10 days and never needed to take any opiods. Over several weeks, I had a handful of questions which were submitted via email and responded to within an hour or two. Dr. Gerlinger arranged to have many texts sent regarding pre and post surgery suggestions. They were mostly educational, though partly motivational. In my opinion, they were very timely and helpful since they dealt with things I was encountering.

Dr Gerlinger is a world class surgeon. He also has excellent people skills and knows how to put anxious patients at ease when they are in pain and need medical assistance. I know others who have also been treated by him and will also compliment his surgical and bedside skills. There is no one else I would recommend to do a knee or hip replacement on for friends or family.

Dr. Gerlinger and his team were fantastic before, during, and after my hip replacement procedure. Knowing what I know now, I would have had this done two years ago. I can hardly put into words how pleased I have been with my partial knee replacement. I drove 150 to see Dr Gerlinger because of his amazing profile. It was one of the best decisions of my life. I limped for two years previously and was unsure if I could get up enough nerve to get this done. From Day 1 that I made my decision, it was a positive experience. The text messages that gave me the boost of confidence that I needed, his staff is great and I truly appreciated how organized the office visits were. I arrived the day of my surgery and within a few short hours was walking out, really walking, from heel to toe! I jumped in to PT on day 7 and am feeling great!
