Dr Gerlinger and his staff were professional, encouraging, & supportive throughout the whole process. Bilateral hips needing replaced was quite a diagnosis, but also a relief to finally understand the source of all the pain. Midwest Orthopedics made sure we were prepared with written instructions and videos. They also were efficient in keeping up on care through text message reminders and follow up phone calls. Dr. Gerlingers bedside manner was impeccable. He took time to explain and answer any questions, making sure we felt confident. We are very content with our care that we received before, during, and after both surgeries. Thank you Dr Gerlinger !

Dr. Gerlinger came highly recommended to me. I felt very comfortable with him and scheduled my knee replacement. The surgery went well and I went home the same day. Dr. Gerlinger's staff were very professional and kind.

In 2010 after a botched TKR from a different doctor in San Antonio, Dr. Gerlinger performed a revision. I was terrified after what I had been through. I was so happy to find this site and let people know that 15 years later my knee is awesome! Thank you Col Gerlinger! You were such a positive influence in my life!

Dr. Gerlinger and staff plus daily instructions guide you through the recovery process . Don’t give up and follow the protocol. P.T. Is very important but do it every other day and get the ice machine.

I have been with Midwest Orthopedics since 1994. I have had hips replaced, accidents w/broken femurs and recently knee replacement. Dr Gerlinger is an amazing surgeon and keeps me mobile.

Dr. Gerlinger communicated what I was to expect of the surgery and my recovery. The surgery was very quick and I was home walking within 4 hours. The daily text kept me focused and organized with next steps before surgery. Gold Coast surgery center team was amazing.
