Dr. Gerlinger came highly recommended to me. I felt very comfortable with him and scheduled my knee replacement. The surgery went well and I went home the same day. Dr. Gerlinger's staff were very professional and kind.

I am grateful for the patience and kindness shown to me throughout the entire knee replacement process with Dr. Gerlinger and his team. I was so nervous to have this procedure done but from the time I arrived to the surgery center to my last scheduled visit, I have felt supported and encouraged by each person along the way. The text messages sent by Doctor helped me have a greater understanding of what I should be working towards and even when I felt like I would never get over the next hurdle, I would get another text telling me, “it’s okay! You’re doing great and don’t be discouraged”. I looked forward to those texts to help me mentally and physically. A big thank you to Dr. Gerlinger and his entire team!! I heard you were the best and now I know it first hand.

Great team at Rush Midwest Orthopedic. Total knee replacement by Dr.Gerlinger. He used "minimally invasive technique" to bypass the quadriceps and tendons. It made for an easier recovery. I also signed up for daily message, it provided digital support for the first 6 weeks of surgery. I'm planning on my 2nd knee in January. Unfortunately, Dr. Gerlinger decided to focus only on commercial clients, and left Medicare and Advantage plans to other surgeons at Rush Midwest Orthopedic.

I recently had my hip replaced by Dr Gerlinger. I am so impressed with him and his whole team. Everyone involved was so pleasant and knowledgeable, from my initial visit to my 6 week check up. Every question and detail was attended to. I loved the text messages…it was uncanny how I would be thinking about something and along came the text easing my worries! Everyone involved the day of surgery eluded such confidence it really put myself and family at ease. I have to add I was at the surgery center at 530am and home on my couch at 11am. I have been a nurse for over 40 years, and I couldn’t be more impressed. That’s how health care should be, they nailed it!

I had my total knee replacement done on april 1st 2025. From my first visit. Everything ran so smooth from the front desk to the X-ray department. The nurses were also great!!!. I couldn't. Of chose a better team. To do my surgery. Doctor Gerlinger was great! I love the text messages thru out my journey They were so Uplifting and encouraging! They help so much with the extra exercises . I loved after some of the messages.He wrote YOU GOT THIS! It made my day alittle brighter!!. Thank you again

Dr. Gerlinger staff were all courteous and professional, I received service at my appointed time. Dr. Brook viewed the X-Rays and examined my knee. Dr. Gerlinger performed follow up examination acknowledged everything looked well and advised me to keep doing my walking activities.

I was very impressed with the offices of Rush orthopedics. The staff was very friendly and professional. The appointment moved along quickly and when Dr Gerlinger greeted me, he told me he would be happy to do my knee replacement for me. He assured me that that’s all he did and that he would take care of me. His administrative assistant was warm and friendly as well. I’m glad I decided to take a chance on this doctor and facility.

The procedure was done in, surprisingly, a very efficient way. At first I was concerned about not being in a hospital but the surgery and all the professionals at Gold Coast were just wonderful. I will have the next replacement done there by Dr. Gerlinger

Dr Gerlinger did my Left knee total replacement. Him and his team are the best and he is a top notch doctor. Surgery went great and was walking and basically pain free. My knee is doing great and wished I would have done this years ago. Dr Gerlinger not only gave me my life back, but brought out my happiness again. Best decision I ever made using this doctor. Can't thank them enough!!!!
