I had the best experience having Dr Tad Gerlinger perform my two partial knee replacements. I had the RPKA done on May 20, 2024 and my LPKA done on September 16, 2024. The results of both were great. When I first met Dr Gerlinger I was impressed by his ability to instantly put me at ease. Everything about the Midwest Orthopedic experience was great, from his medical staff to the clerical aspect. One of my favorite things were his Surgical Texts I received from the onset. I watched and appreciated all his videos. They were extremely helpful before, during and after surgery. I made an instant connection with him when I watched the video where he told you about himself and the experiences he’s had in life. I could relate particularly well when he told of his military experience. My father was a WWII veteran and POW, that was probably my instant connection to him. My husband is also a veteran and I’ve always had a special place in my heart for the military. From the bottom of my heart I want to thank you and your entire staff for everything you did for me.

So glad I chose Midwest orthopedics and in particular dr gerlinger for my knee replacement. An absolutely smooth process and recovery. Dr Gerlinger’s almost daily texts over a 6/7 week recovery gave me such important information on where I should be in recovery and various new exercises to be performed at home. I can't say enough about Dr. Gerlinger and his staff, they go above and beyond to make sure your surgical experience is the best it can be. He told me I would walk out of the surgery and he was 100% correct. Your wellbeing and comfort are priorities for him and his team. His team answering all questions in a timely manner. The text messages from Dr. Gerlinger are informative, educational, and they offer encouragement.

Dr. Gerlinger did my partial knee replacement a year ago. I'm 100% glad I had it done, and I'm 100% glad I chose Dr. Gerlinger to do it. From beginning to end it was a great experience. I now walk without pain and feel 25 years younger. I should have had it done years earlier. Dr. Gerlinger is kind, professional, efficient, and is an incredible surgeon. Besides his professionalism and expertise in orthopedic surgery he’s a nice guy with great bedside manners I also would like to thank him for serving in the military I also would like to add to this post, which will be the second time around Dr. Gerlinger’s entire staff were amazing until they helped me get in my car after surgery to drive home. Nothing could have been a better experience during such a major surgery.
