Dr. Gerlinger and his medical team did both of my Partial Knee Replacements this year. So well in fact that after each surgery I was walking around without crutches after the 3rd day. I'm 56 and didn't expect both knees to recover so fast. I just want to personally thank Dr. Gerlinger and his team for their professionalism and friendly attention to my needs. Honestly I couldn't ask for more, I received the best of care.

I had a partial knee replacement in October 2022, I found Dr, Gerlinger to be straightforward, friendly and professional. He and his staff answered all my questions thoroughly, and I found the daily text messages to be quite helpful and encouraging. Should I need to have my other knee replaced in the future, I will absolutely go back to Dr. Gerlinger. Highest recommendation!

Evaluation and diagnosis was very clear. Explanation of the surgery was straightforward. High level of communication helped me feel more confident. Surgery went very well with immediate relief from arthritic pain. Helpful post op texts and reminders to guide recovery. Excellent staff /associates were positive and supportive throughout. Most importantly - very good results from the surgery.

Precise and competent surgeon and staff. Had both my knees replaced in 2017/2018 several months apart at age 25. Staff explained and put me at ease. I'v been working out, climbing,swimming walking etc. with very good results. Was depressed thinking what I had to get done these major surgeries and what life would be after. God bless this surgeon and the staff along with everyone at Rush.

If you have any knee pain, consult Dr. Gerlinger. If the partial knee replacement is right for you it is a great solution with much easier recovery than the full replacement. On top of that, extremely organized, professional, and ensure you are well taken care of. Highly recommend.

I’m 66 and need full replacements in both knees. I’m 6 weeks from my first surgery. The other knee to be operated on Feb’ 23. I was told repeatedly that I would do great. And I did do very well- The key for me was following Dr. G’s text messages and finding the best Physical Therapist possible. Those 2 features will result in a successful outcome. It did for me. Everybody at MOR was great. Thanks so much. Trust the process…it works!!

Dr Gerlinger and his staff were extremely communicative for the entire 6 weeks post-op. The text system used was exceptional and walks u thru rehab milestones and exercises. I happen to have a harder rehab since I needed 2 knee replacements(1 down , 1 to go 1st qtr 2023. This was conveyed to me pre-op. I have to shout out to all the PT's at Rush in Oakbrook as well. All aspects pre/post op are very well run!

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Gerlinger and his entire team. I had my right knee replaced and the entire process has been smooth and supportive. I loved the text messages sent by his office as I have enjoyed both the motivational texts as well as additional exercises with targets each week. They really helped me stay focused on my recovery. I am looking forward to scheduling my left knee replacement very soon.

Dr. Gerlinger is awesome. He performed knee replacement surgery on my right knee.He is very knowledgeable ,excellent doctor/patient relationship skills, skilled surgeon, and sincere. His support staff is also excellent. I participated in a research study and found my interactions with his research coordinator excellent. Yearly reviews were clear, concise, short and pleasant. Jomary also helped me in setting up appointment for consult with Dr. Gerlinger on other knee. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. GERLINGER.

I researched and needed to find a 2nd opinion with pain and the inflammatory arthritis in my hip. I was so happy when I found Dr. Tad Gerlinger with Midwest Orthopaedics with Rush. From the start, I was comfortable with how he could help me return to my active lifestyle without the constant pain. He recommended a Minimally Invasive Total Hip Replacement and even provided informational videos and expectations. The outpatient surgery went very smooth with Dr. Gerlinger and his amazing team surrounding him. I was in by 9am and walking out on crutches by 1pm. My favorite part was the texting program provided during my rehabilitation. It was a great way to communicate to get tips, do's and don't, and even receive motivation to get through the day by day activities. I recommend Dr. Tad Gerlinger if you are planning on getting your painless lifestyle back again.

Dr. Gerlinger is a straight shooter! He tells you how things are and then let's you know what options are available. My knees are better for working with him even though he hasn't "touched" me with a scalpel.
