Dr. Gerlinger and his staff were a pleasure to work with. I’m a Chicago firefighter and had bad degenerate arthritis in both knees. Had trouble walking up and down stairs and getting into my apparatus. Had to have both knees replaced and this young man did an amazing job. Dr. Gerlinger and his staff made the entire experience extremely easy and as painless as could be. I would recommend him to anyone. Great surgeon and fantastic staff! Like the Chicago Fire Department moto: we’re there when you need us, I can say the same about him and his staff! I would give then 10 stars!

Dr. Tad L. Gerlinger performed a minimally invasive total hip replacement surgery for me on June 19, 2020. From the initial visits, through the operation at Rush and the post-op visits, the experience with Dr. Gerlinger and Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush was the most professional, thorough, systematic medical procedure I have experienced. Dr. Gerlinger is truly a very competent, outstanding surgeon Patient safety, infection management, wound care, careful follow-up and rapid recovery were all excellent. Six weeks post-surgery, I was released without restrictions on my activities. As time progressed I was able to resume road cycling, tennis, and teaching fitness classes. Next year I will be doing a knee replacement with him which is his specialty . Dr Gerlinger, thank you for your great work !

Dr. Gerlinger performed a total hip replacement and this is the first time in two years that I have been able to walk without pain and the first time in a year that I have not had to use a cane. The entire team is amazing and seem to work together so well. When I ran into a problem with my incision, the problem was immediately addressed and close communication was maintained. I will be back to see De. Gerlinger when it is time for knee replacement.

Dr. Tad L. Gerlinger performed a minimally invasive total hip replacement surgery for me on June 30, 2020. From the initial visits, through the operation at Rush and the post-op visits, the experience with Dr. Gerlinger and Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush was the most professional, thorough, systematic medical procedure I have ever experienced. Dr. Gerlinger is truly an outstanding surgeon with full mastery of his craft. Patient safety, infection management, wound care, careful follow-up and rapid recovery were all excellent. Six weeks post-surgery, I was released without restrictions on my activities. I played golf the next day pain free for the first time in years. I could not be more thankful and grateful for the results!

Dr. Gerlinger did a partial replacement on both my knees in the first half of 2020. I can't say enough about the professionalism of him and his staff. End to end, it's the best medical experience I've had. I spoke to three different orthopedic doctors, and Dr. Gerlinger was the only one who suggested the partial replacement instead of the full replacement. For me, it was perfect. Knees are doing great - if you're committed to physical therapy, you'll come through it all in great shape.

Dr. Gerlinger was great!!! I had my knee done 13 years ago and decided,at a friend's advice, to check him out. I was not disappointed. He and his staff treated me as if they knew me. I was so impressed with the service and quality of their care, I sent them flowers! He got me going again. Thanks Dr. "G"!!!!!
