I had both knees replaced by Dr. Gerlinger and would highly recommend him and his team. They very promptly handled any issues I had post surgery, return phone calls quickly and the pre surgery education class was very helpful in easing any concerns I had, and was a great opportunity to ask any questions ahead of time.

Dr Gerlinger and his team replaced both of my knees: Right on Jan 2008 and left on Dec 2013 at BAMC. I was always treated with kindness and respect and all of my needs were met. In 2013, I even drove from Las Vegas to San Antonio just so he could work his magic again. And, more importantly, after 10 years of use and abuse, my knees are functioning just like new. God Bless you Dr Gerlinger. You are a great surgeon.

Dr Gerlinger is a Straight shooter , very wise and posseses a rare skill set. My recovery is exactly what was said it would be . Full knee replacement that has not let me down . addictions absent following surgery due to following docs orders and guidelines . This surgeon gets the job done . Can't even see the scar !

Very professional staff. Facility is immaculate and very positive interaction from the front desk to the xray staff to the doctor. Appointments are on time. Dr Gerlinger did partial Knee replacements in both knees and I could not be happier with the results. This was done as an outpatient and I was very satisfied with the whole process. Even though I was nervous about the whole procedure I always felt I was well informed from the initial contact to the daily text messages I received through the recovery period. The texts were always motivational in nature and told me what to expect as I was going through the recovery period.

I had partial right knee replacement six weeks ago and I’m able to walk up the stairs do almost all of my regular work and very little pain after surgery. Partial knee replacement was definitely the way to go. I will more than likely have it done on my left knee very shortly. The staff and everyone at the hospital was absolutely courteous and professional. I was recommended to Dr. Gerlinger by another physician That did shoulder surgery on me and couldn’t be more pleased. I suggest to everyone if you don’t need total knee replacement get partial replacement , The recovery time is much less and I’m sure less painful. I highly recommend Dr. Gerlinger and partial knee replacement.
