I was very impressed by Dr. Gerlinger. I read his bio on the Rush website before my visit and was more impressed after I met him. He explained everything very clearly and gave me much hope for an excellent outcome. I feel honored to have him perform my surgery and I look forward to the speedy recovery he promised me.

Dr. Gerlinger has done 3 out of 4 knees for my husband and myself. I highly recommend him! Four years ago he did a partial knee replacement for me, and this summer my husband had both knees done with partial knee replacements, 7 weeks apart. Dr. Gerlinger was patient, listened to our concerns, and treated us with respect. The pain management regime the office uses is excellent and the office staff is always available to answer questions or concerns. Every time I am in a conversation about knee replacements, I recommend Dr. Gerlinger. He is excellent.

When I first visited Dr. Gerlinger's office, he told me I would know when I would need the surgery. He was right on point. It took some time till I had reached that stage and I had surgery 6 weeks ago. I am amazed how quickly I am getting back to normal. Within two days I was walking down the steps in my multi level home and stable on my feet. Walking upstairs is a little slower recovery, but doable. The pain was much less then I expected and the only issue I have now is a tightness in my IT band otherwise I am almost 95%. The notes that I received regularly from the Doctor's office were right on point for charting my progress. and made it easy for me to realize how well I was progressing. (usually a day or two ahead of schedule. I highly recommend Dr. Gerlinger's procedure and probably be back one day for my new left hip..

I met with Dr Gerlinger about left knee pain. He and a colleague spent a lot of time with me explaining his recommended procedure and answering all my questions. Was very attentive and I didn’t feel rushed at all. I will be having surgery in a few months so hoping to be pain free soon after!

This is my second knee. Dr. Gerlinger did the left one in January and the right three weeks ago today (November 20). My therapy today was the best yet with -4 degrees straightening and 124 degrees bending. Yes, it is sore and stiff, but from my experience with the left knee ten months ago, I will be mowing the lawn, mulching the gardens, raking leaves, climbing ladders and working out in a matter of weeks! Dr. Gerlinger is awesome and Rachel, my therapist is equally as great! Thanks Midwest Rush!

Dr Gerlinger recently did knee replacement surgery for me and the results have been great. I’ve had pre and post operative meetings with him and his staff and found their information and guidance to be excellent my progress has mirrored exactly what he indicated. Dr. Gerlinger performed my knee operation and everything exceeded my expectations. At my age of 67 to be able to play golf just 7 weeks after a total knee replacement is remarkable. He has assembled a truly great team of professionals which allowed for a very good experience. I would certainly recommend Dr. Gerlinger to anyone in need of a replacement.
