I chose Dr. Tad Gerlinger for my knee revision based on the recommendation of another Surgeon at Midwest Orthopedics and after being impressed with my initial consultation at Midwest Orthopedics with Dr. Gerlinger I chose him after consulting with 2 other physicians. Dr. Gerlinger has an amazing resume and experience and I wanted a surgeon who specialized in knee surgery, His staff is incredibly helpful and kind, and the entire process was smooth. The physical therapy is excellent and a key part of recovery. Dr. Gerlinger's practice sends automated texts both pre-surgery and during recovery with timely information and encouragement, which has been very helpful, I highly recommend the Midwest Orthopedics for anyone seeking orthopedic surgery.

Dr Gerlinger did fantastic work on both my partial knee replacements. No more pain and I'm enjoying great mobility, especially with small grandchildren. Knew what to expect both pre op and post op. Staff responds quickly to phone calls. Dr takes the time to answer all my questions. The Midwest Rush Oak Brook facility is great!

I am totally please with my experience and results from having a partial knee replacement for both knees. Dr. Gerlinger and his team made sure I understood all aspects of my surgery and the post operative care and follow up was great. Any questions I had were promptly answered by his staff plus they made sure my appointments were booked without having to ask. I am so grateful to be able to live pain free and get my former active lifestyle back. Thank you to Dr. Gerlinger and his fantastic team.

Dr Gerlinger has replaced my knee and my hip. Excellent surgeon. He explains everything with ease and patience. I have fallen multiple times since and had to check my hardware to make sure nothing is loose. He never makes me feel bad in any way. Just makes sure I'm ok.

Dr Gerlinger was very positive about the outlook for total hip surgery and his attitude, along with the education videos and texts made me feel positive. Surgery did go well and so far my recovery is right on track. Im very happy Dr Gerlinger was recommended to me by a friend who had the same successful experience. My surgery took place at Rush University Medical Center. The staff were wonderful.

I have had both of my knees replaced with Dr Gerlinger and his team. I am very happy with the care I have been given. He has a very informative video explaining the surgery and procedure. It's nice to have it in a format that you can refer back to. Surgery itself was done same day, and their after care was well thought out and kept pain under control. Sign up for the daily text so you can get reminders before and after surgery with encouraging notes as well. Hard work at PT is required, but the results are worth it. I wouldn't trust anyone else.
