The Colonel or aka Bruce Wayne is a great surgeon. The Doctor and his staff are very attentive as they listened to my concerns and reassured my concerns. The Colonel repaired a bowlegged man's nightmare!!! My Bone on bone issues are over after Dr Gerlinger finished my double knee replacement within six month intervals back in 2018 & 2019. So far so good, please do your physical therapy immediately after surgery. !!! I have a few minor concerns as expected with knee replacemens, but moving much better. Thanks again Dr Tad and Staff My man Bruce Wayne!!!

Went to go see Dr Tad Gerlinger at midwest orthopedics ?for the first time. I found he and his staff to be friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful in taking the time to answer all the questions that I had. If I had any concerns prior to meeting Dr. Gerlinger….After leaving my appointment I was confident that he and his staff could handle all my concerns.?

My husband had a total right knee replacement in 2021 by Dr. Gerlinger at Rush in Chicago. We couldn’t be more pleased with the surgery and how professional, kind and courteous Dr. Gerlinger was through the whole process. The physical therapy was tough, but he is improving every day. I also need a knee replacement in the future, and I will trust Dr. Gerlinger to perform my surgery. We highly recommend him as an excellent orthopedic surgeon.

My experience with Midwest Orthopedics at Rush, and especially Dr Gerlinger was absolutely the best! Beginning with Dr Gerlinger every receptionist, radiological technologist, aide and hospital employee was wonderful! Above all the nurses of Dr Gerlinger’s office were exceptional. If I emailed or called, I would have a call back generally in less than an hour. Every other Doctor, Anesthesiologist, and recovery nurse we’re terrific. I’m now at 6 weeks post op and doing well with physical therapy, climbing stairs and getting better and stronger every day! I’m 74 years old and have a pacemaker. Life is good!

In a nutshell, Dr. Gerlinger saved my leg, my ability to function normally without pain, and truly has the best interest of his patients in mind and in carrying out the actual procedures. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Gerlinger was able to suggest an alternative to a total knee replacement. Surgery went well, and the doctor was very reassuring during follow-up visits. He would also add a touch of humor during the appointments. I am very pleased with the care I received.

r to surgery Dr. Gerlinger’ s office provided support materials that included links to websites about how the surgery is done, medications and after care. Recovery was surprisingly quick with physical therapy support. Within 3 weeks I was limping less than I had prior to the surgery. Much less pain than I anticipated.
