Dr. Gerlinger and his team were fantastic before, during, and after my hip replacement procedure. Knowing what I know now, I would have had this done two years ago. I didn't have any pain as a result of my surgery. In fact, I have had blisters that were more trouble than this. You can't go wrong with Dr. Gerlinger and his team.

Dr. Gerlinger and his staff were exceptional - and my partial knee replacement recovery has been very smooth and my knee feels terrific. I saw 3 other surgeons for this same procedure and chose Dr. Gerlinger because of being highly recommended by several people, his experience and lack of ego, and his continued research in the field, and his respect and care of his patients. His team is well-organized and communicative - and very responsive, which is much needed after a surgery- Alissa is amazing! Due to an active lifestyle and training as a competitive athlete, I have seen over 25 orthopedic surgeons for various injuries - from California to Colorado and the East Coast - and have had 4 other orthopedic surgeries. And I can say that Dr. Gerlinger stands out not only because he is an outstanding surgeon, but because he cares for the most important person - you as the patient. My recovery has been seamless, thanks to him and his fantastic team.

I can hardly put into words how pleased I have been with my partial knee replacement. I drove 150 to see Dr Gerlinger because of his amazing profile. It was one of the best decisions of my life. I limped for two years previously and was unsure if I could get up enough nerve to get this done. From Day 1 that I made my decision, it was a positive experience. The text messages that gave me the boost of confidence that I needed, his staff is great and I truly appreciated how organized the office visits were. I arrived the day of my surgery and within a few short hours was walking out, really walking, from heel to toe! I jumped in to PT on day 7 and am feeling great! I want to give a huge thank you to Dr Gerlinger and his staff.

AWESOME SURGEON! HE REPLACED MY LEFT HIP ALMOST 6 YRS AGO AND HE AND HIS STAFF WERE FANTASTIC! THE ENTIRE PROCEDURE WENT WONDERFULLY, I HAD A TELEPHONE CONFERENCE WITH DR. GERLINGER, AT WHICH TIME HE TOLD ME HE WOULD REPLACE MY RIGHT KNEE AT THE MUNSTER INDIANA LOCATION IN AN IN-N-OUT, SAME DAY PROCEDURE ON A TUESDAY. I LIVE IN NORTHWEST INDIANA, WHICH WAS GREAT NEWS FOR ME! HE HAD TOLD ME ALMOST6 YEARS AGO, AFTER HE REPLACED MY HIP, THAT I NEEDED BOTH KNEES REPLACED. HE ADVISED ME TO LET HIM KNOW WHEN I WAS READY. AT THE TIME OF OUR TELEPHONE CONFERENCE APPROX. 1.5 YEARS AGO I WAS HAVING SERIOUS ISSUES WITH MY RIGHT KNEE AND TOLD HIM I WAS READY.!! WE SET UP AN APPOINTMENT TO SEE HIM, THEN GO DIRECTLY FROM HIS OFFICE TO SEE A DOCTOR FOR A PRE-OP PHYSICAL EXAM. WHEN I GOT TO HIS OFFICE AND I GOT TO SEE HIM, HIS ENTIRE SCOPE CHANGED, BECAUSE OF INSURANCE DICTATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS ! INSTEAD OF SETTING UP THE SURGERY DATE AND GOING OVER TO GET MY PRE-OP EXAM, HE STRONGLY URGED ME TO GET INJECTIONS AND THERAPY TELLING ME THAT INSURANCE WANTS THEM TO EXHAUST ALL MEANS BEFORE DOING TOTAL REPLACEMENTS, EVEN THOUGH HE TOLD ME YEARS AGO THAT I NEEDED REPLACEMENTS DONE BECAUSE OF THE CONDITIONS OF MY KNEES. A THAT TIME 5 YEARS AGO! I TOLD HIM I'VE HAD INJECTIONS BEFORE AND THEY'VE NEVER HELPED IN MY SHOULDERS OR MY SPINE. HE TOLD ME IF I TOOK HIS ADVICE AGAINST MY BETTER JUDGMENT AND KNOWING HOW MUCH PAIN I WAS IN WITH MY KNEES, BECAUSE HE'S THE DOCTOR AND INSURANCE TELLS HIM WHAT HE SHOULD DO APPARENTLY? TODAY I HAVE MUCH MORE PAIN THAN EVER IN BOTH KNEES IN MY ANKLES AND MY FEET BECAUSE OF MY KNEES ETC. I TOOK A PART-TIME JOB TO SUPPLEMENT MY INCOME. I'M IN PAIN EVERYDAY OF MY LIFE NOW! I WISH HE WOULD HAVE STEPPED UP AND STOOD UP TO THE INSURANCE BUREAUCRATS , AT LEAST A LITTLE MORE. IT'S NOT AS IF THIS IS A NEW INJURY AND NOTHING'S BEEN TRIED! HAVING TALKED WITH ONE OF HIS NURSES TODAY ABOUT A RECENT FALL ON MY FAKE HIP, SHE BROUGHT TO LIGHT HOW THE INSURANCE WILL NOT PAY THEM IF THEY DON'T DO WHAT THEY'RE TOLD! THEREFORE, I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO GIVE THIS PHENOMENAL SURGEON DR GERLINGER HIS JUST DO AND GIVE HIM AND HIS STAFF TOP MARKS!! IT'S THE INSURANCE COMPANIES THAT SHOULD GET NO STARS!! I HOPE THE DOCTOR AND HIS STAFF CAN APPRECIATE MY OTHER FRUSTRATION IN THIS BECAUSE I'VE BEEN LIVING IN THIS PAIN FOR A LONG TIME! THANK YOU

Very thorough and professional.Dr Gerlinger and his staff have outstanding follow-up skill and answered my questions or concerns within 1.5 hrs. He explained his surgical procedures, safer anesthesia, and post surgical maters personally or by links to credible websites, or in his daily texts. Lastly Dr Gerlinger has excellent surgical skills as evidenced the excellent total knee replacement outcome with no issues. I’m very happy I chose Dr Gerlinger and recommend him without hesitation.
