Dr Gerlinger and his team are outstanding. They care for each patient, and listen to all concerns. I am recovering from LTKR, and I know am in great hands. I will be doing a RTKR in a few months.

Every step of the process has been far easier than I ever expected. It almost made me nervous that everything was so easy because I thought I had to be missing something!!! Every person on staff has been wonderful!! Dr Gerlinger is running a top notch organization and I would not hesitate to encourage anyone who is in need of a hip to contact him.

I had a full hip replacement completed by Dr. Gerlinger at Rush hospital. The procedure was more complicated due a previous hip condition and prior surgeries - but they did an outstanding job. Dr. Gerlinger, Midewest Orthopedics, and Rush hospital are among the best in the country, and I would highly recommend their practice for any orthopedic procedures.

Dr. Gerlinger is amazing! Second hip replacement went as smoothly as the first. I’m 6 weeks out and able to do all the pre-surgery sports and activities, only with better range of motion and with no pain. Dr. Gerlinger’s expertise and knowledge provided an optimal outcome. II chose Dr Gerlinger in 2018 for my initial left hip replacement and had a quick recovery. When the time came for the right hip replacement, November 2023, I knew having the surgery done with Dr. Gerlinger would yield the same outcome. Midwest Orthopedics at Rush have the rockstars!

After 7 surgeries on my knee it was time to get a new one. Dr. Gerlinger was recommended to me by my previous doctor at Rush. At my consult Dr. Gerlinger and his team got to know me as a person and learned about my expectations and concerns. I felt at ease leaving my consult with a surgery date. I signed up for the text messaging service and it was extremely helpful both before and after surgery and shared my daily texts with my colleagues. The day of surgery was very smooth. I was familiar with the surgery center due to previous experiences but the whole team at Rush Oak Brook was fantastic. As I mentioned, the text messages put me at ease throughout recovery. Each time I started to wonder "is this normal" I would get a text that day that would answer my question. Dr. Gerlinger and his team are great and I would recommend them to anyone.

Dr Gerlinger and his team are A plus! I went for four years suffering from knee pain. I had to stop hiking, and found it difficult to carry my grandchildren or climb the playground equipment with them. I am 6 weeks out of a partial knee replacement today. I am writing this from my seat on the plane where I just finished racing through the airport to make this connecting flight! No problem and no pain. So very grateful to this highly skilled surgeon and his top notch team. Also, big shout out for the daily messages. So very useful, as they answered all my questions as they arose.
